Who is Phineas?

My name is Chris Koontz, and I AM Phineas Delgado.

My work, though, is in technology, and over the years, I’ve taken note of how Science Fiction as a genre has helped make our society what it is. But I also noticed how little we’ve been prepared for the advancements we’ve stolen from the future. So, I created “How Science Fiction Failed Us”, a collection of my thoughts on today’s technology, its sources in science fiction, and how ill prepared we are to deal with the rapid pace of advancements.

Oh, why the pseudonym? Well, for one, Phineas Delgado is a far more interesting name than my own. But let’s face facts, with a last name like KOONTZ, it’s probably a good idea to have a pen name ready, just to avoid confusion.
